A Small Update for Treasure Island

As i have told in the previous post that i was not able to resolve some in Treasure Island errors due to lack of time. I have made some changes in the Treasure Island. The error was in the mechanism of checking when you take the boat, I have improved it. I also changed some pixely things.

Treasure Island

This is my first “48 hour game” and I entered it for the 19th Ludum Dare 48 hour solo game development competition. The idea of the competition is to see how good of a game can you create alone, from grounds up in 48 hours.

Instructions
Use WASD or arrow keys to move around. Collect as many treasure chest as you can. Find the cross mark to go to the next level. To move to the next island use the boat.

Esc for help and pause screen.

Troubleshooting
If you have problems getting the game to run. You should install .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 (Full Package) and XNA Framework Redistributable 3.1

Did it at last. Submitted the game just 6min before deadline. Here are some of the screen shots of the game in action.


Here is my compo entry. SFXR just saved my time in the final hour. There are some errors in the mechanics though.

Ludum Dare #19 - Work In Progress

I am taking part in 19th Ludum Dare Competition. Its a It’s a 48-hour solo-game-development-challenge-competition-thing. This is how my game looks 11 hrs before submission.
